Vanadis 4 extra Sujihiki

The last piece out of the Vanadis Stock was this 285mm Sujihiki.
And because it wasn´t a custom order I had the chance to make what ever I want.
I tried new surface finishes. The Kireha got a lenghtwise scotch brite finish, after i removed all the grinding scratches with Boride stones up to 600 grit.

The Hira got a vertical machine finish with a 120 grit belt. I really like the contrast between those finishes.

I also made my very first wooden Saya out of Walnut. The Pin is made out of a piece from the stabilized Waknut handle material.

The handle is made out of stabilized Walnut with a stainless steel bolster with a slightly museum fit between the parts.
